SELAH SUNDAY

Selah is a Hebrew word for “pause and reflect,”. Selah appears throughout the Hebrew Bible 74 times. Each an invitation to slow down and let the Holy Spirit resonate deep within us. This Sunday, in an effort to live out The Word, Awaken Church is taking a Selah Sunday. We will not be meeting corporately, rather, we’re encouraging the congregation to take a Sunday to reflect on how the Lord has been working in this season of life. Our prayer is that Selah Sunday will become a pillar of Awaken Church and will promote longevity- spiritually, mentally, and physically- as the Body of Christ. We’re excited to hear testimonies of how this first Selah Sunday impacts you, and we look forward to worshiping together again on August 6th at 10am.
